Demolition - Birrong Girls High School

Project Details

Location

Birrong, New South Wales

Client

Duration

  • Full single storey building demolition
  • Excavation
  • Asbestos removal
  • After contract tradesman provided

Perfect Contracting were engaged to complete the full demolition and removal of a single storey building. The works involved required concrete cutting of certain sections of the building, followed by the operation of excavator to assist in demolition of the building. Asbestos was present at the site so careful planning and removal of the asbestos contaminated materials were required, along with safe disposal.

Additional excavation works were undertaken, removing large quantities of soil, in preparation of new civil works for the overall project. The presence of asbestos on site required extra management of the load out of all materials including excavated soil, ensuring no asbestos contaminated materials were illegally disposed.
