Perfect Contracting’s Hazmat division was engaged by our client Paynters to deliver complex asbestos and demolition services at the Presbyterian Church in Lismore.
After being heavily affected by the one-in-one-hundred-year flood that devastated the northern rivers region, the Presbyterian Church was in dire need of remediation and restoration.
Perfect’s Hazmat division was tasked with carrying out the asbestos and detailed demolition scope of works.
Remediation of the heritage listed church in Lismore included:
- Strip out of the floor and removal 300mm of asbestos contaminated soil
- Strip out and demolition of water damaged walls and timber
- Asbestos removal of bonded asbestos ceiling tiles and wall sheets
- Drying out all water damaged walls, floors and ceilings with blow heaters
