Steel Recycling & Scrap Metal Recovery

Find out what your steel is worth

Name and mobile is all we need. We call back, usually same day.

Steel Recycling and Scrap Metal Recovery

Your redundant structure is not just a demolition cost, it is a steel asset. We recover, process and weigh every tonne, and the scrap value comes off your price or back in your pocket.

    • Structural steel, plant and machinery recovery
    • Scrap value credited against the demolition price
    • Certified weighbridge dockets on every load
    • Torch cutting, shearing and processing on site
    • We travel Australia wide for steel-heavy jobs

Demolition that pays some of its own bill

Most demolition contractors treat scrap as their quiet second profit. We put it on the table instead: the steel in your structure is weighed, priced at current scrap rates, and credited openly against the job. On steel-heavy structures, warehouses, plants, towers, bridges, that credit can change the whole economics of the project.

You see every weighbridge docket, so the credit is based on real tonnes, not an estimate that mysteriously favours the contractor.

    What we recover

    • Structural steel frames, portal sheds and warehouses
    • Redundant plant, tanks, conveyors and machinery
    • Transmission towers, masts and telecom structures
    • Rail, mining and port infrastructure
    • Copper, aluminium and other non-ferrous metals, priced separately at higher rates

    How the money side works

Before we price the job we assess the recoverable tonnage from drawings or a site walk. The quote then shows the demolition cost and the scrap credit as separate lines, so you can see exactly what the steel is doing to your price. On some structures the scrap covers most of the demolition. On a few it covers all of it.

Non-ferrous metals are segregated and priced on their own, because lumping copper in with steel is how recovery value quietly disappears.

    Doing it safely

Steel recovery is engineered demolition, not pulling things over with an excavator and hoping. Cut sequences are designed around the load paths, high work is done with shears and high-reach machines rather than people, and hot works run under permits with fire watch.

Want a quick number? Send photos or drawings of the structure. We will give you a rough recoverable tonnage and what that does to the demolition price, usually within a day.

    Where we work

Sydney head office, Brisbane yard, crews working Australia wide. Steel-heavy demolition and decommissioning teams travel to every state on staged programs.

    Questions we get asked

Do you actually pay for the steel?

Yes, either as a credit against the demolition price or, where the scrap outweighs the work, a payment to you. Weighbridge dockets back every tonne.

What scrap price do you use?

Current market rates at the time of the job, shown in the quote. If the market moves significantly before we start, we tell you rather than pocketing the difference.

Is it worth it for a small shed?

Sometimes. Send a photo and we will tell you honestly. Small structures with heavy sections can carry surprising value; light cladding sheds usually do not.

Can you scrap plant that is still inside a working facility?

Yes, that is live-environment decommissioning and it is core work for us. Isolation, permits and staged removal around your operations.

    Got steel coming down?

Tell us what the structure is and where. You will get a demolition price with the scrap value shown, not hidden.
