Defence and Government Demolition
Demolition, hazmat removal and site remediation on defence estates and government facilities, delivered by a contractor built for the compliance, security and documentation the Commonwealth expects.
- ✓Demolition and dismantling on secure sites
- ✓Asbestos and hazmat removal, Class A and B licensed
- ✓Contaminated land remediation to the RAP
- ✓Personnel able to meet site security requirements
- ✓ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified systems
Government work is won on compliance and delivered on discipline
Defence and government demolition is ordinary demolition wrapped in extraordinary accountability: security vetting, escorting protocols, heritage overlays, unexploded ordnance awareness on older ranges, and documentation standards that would sink an unprepared contractor. We built our systems for exactly this level of scrutiny, and our estimating team reads tender packs the way assessors mark them.
The work itself spans the whole estate: barracks and mess buildings, hangars and workshops, wharves, magazines, radar and communications structures, and the contaminated ground beneath decades of defence use.
What we deliver on government sites
- Building and structure demolition, piecemeal or engineered
- Asbestos removal, common across older defence estate
- Fuel infrastructure and UST removal with validation
- Contaminated soil remediation, PFAS-aware handling protocols
- Steel recovery and recycling with full chain of custody
- Enabling and early works for new facility construction
Working inside the wire
Our people work to base access requirements: identity and police checks, escorting rules, photography controls, tool and vehicle logs. Programs are built around base operations, exercises and access windows, because on a defence site the program serves the base, not the other way around.
The paperwork wins the job and closes it out
From tender to completion, everything is documented: methodologies, SWMS, environmental management plans, waste tracking, daily records and a closeout pack that survives audit years later. That standard is why contractors get invited back to government panels.
Tendering a defence package? Send the RFT documents. We respond with a compliant, costed methodology, and we flag the clauses that catch contractors who have not done this before.
Where we work
Sydney head office, Brisbane yard, crews Australia wide. Infrastructure and government work runs interstate on staged programs with cleared, inducted personnel.
Questions we get asked
Can your personnel get base access?
Yes, our crews complete the required checks and inductions for defence site access, and we plan vetting lead times into the program.
Have you dealt with UXO risk?
On former ranges and training areas we work to UXO risk assessments with specialist survey partners, and our crews are briefed on find protocols. It is a known process, not a surprise.
What about PFAS contamination?
Common around firefighting training areas. We handle PFAS-impacted soil and water under the project’s environmental consultant with the containment and disposal protocols the regulator requires.
Do you take subcontract packages under managing contractors?
Yes, much government work flows through managing contractors, and we deliver demolition and remediation packages inside their frameworks as readily as direct contracts.
Government or defence project coming up?
Send the scope. You will get a response written for the assessor, and a delivery team that treats compliance as the job, not an add-on.
