Perfect Contracting was contracted by Neoway to complete a strip out of 1000m2 of classroom at TAFE Meadowbank. Including the strip out and demolition of all interior of the building, including but not limited to the demolition of all ceiling lining, skirtings, light fittings, floor trench, walls, ceiling and windows.
The works were completed during the school shutdown in two weeks period in 12hrs rotating shifts. The scope of works involved the removal of friable/bonded asbestos across 6000m2, Perfect had to set up multiple bubbles to encapsulate each work area. All works were done under friable conditions with a class A supervisor and a hygienist on site.
There was the removal of hazardous material throughout the school building during shutdown across 600m2. We had a total of 10 labourers working on night shift and 10 on day shift also. Working over the duration of 2 weeks.
All of the works were completed with a friable class A supervisor and a hygienist for the duration of all works. Perfect stored a skip bin on site and controlled all the waste and hazardous waste removal and disposal.
