Perfect Contracting is currently carrying out full apartment block demolition works for our client Pelenoy Group in Cronulla.
The scope of works for this project involved:
- Strip Out / Demolition and Disposal of the entire 500m2 block of units
- Asbestos Removal
- Removal of Trees & Vegetation
- Bulk & Detailed Excavation works for new foundations totalling 1,350m3
Our team members began this project by stripping the roof tiles and carefully dismantling the roof beams so that we could recycle the wood from the block of apartments.
Next using our team members began the demolition of the units, using our 24T Sumitomo Excavator with MC24 Concrete Pulverizer attachment to crush the bricks and concrete and slowly dismantle the building safely.
Once all the building was demolished down to the slab our team members began loading out all the clean rubble to a concrete recycling facility.
On the next stage of this project, our team members will be carrying out 2.7m deep excavations to allow for a new foundation to be installed by our client.
