End of mine life is a project, not a cleanup
A mine at end of life carries decades of structures: the plant, the conveyors, the workshops, the camps, the tanks nobody remembers filling. Closing it properly means a demolition program that talks to the closure plan, the rehabilitation schedule and the regulator, and a contractor who has priced the whole picture rather than just the visible steel.
The steel matters too. Mine infrastructure is scrap-heavy, and on many sites the recovered steel funds a serious share of the demolition. We show that credit openly, docket by docket.

Closure studies and early pricing
Long before demolition starts, closure teams need real numbers for provisioning. We prepare demolition and decommissioning cost studies from your asset registers and drawings: methodology, program, disposal volumes and scrap offsets. The figure is defensible in front of auditors because it is built the way we would actually price the job.
How mine demolition runs safely
Isolation and de-energisation first, hydrocarbons and hazmat out second, then engineered structural demolition, typically high-reach machines and shears with people kept off the steel. Asbestos in older plants is handled under our own Class A and B licences, so a find never stalls the program.
Everything runs under your site systems: inductions, permits, isolation regimes and the daily reporting your registered manager expects.

Do you work under our site safety systems?
Yes, always. Your inductions, your permits, your isolation regime. Our systems slot in underneath, not instead.
How is scrap handled on remote sites?
Processed to transportable size on site, weighed and freighted to the nearest viable market. Freight economics are built into the credit calculation up front, so the offset shown is real.
Can you do partial decommissioning while the mine still operates?
Yes, staged work around live operations is common: one circuit comes out while the rest keeps running, under isolation and interface controls agreed with your operations team.
Do you handle the rehabilitation too?
We take sites through demolition, subsurface removal and final validation, ready for bulk earthworks and revegetation. Full ecological rehabilitation we deliver alongside specialist partners.
