High-Rise and Regional Demolition Across NSW
Multi storey demolition in built up areas, and commercial demolition in regional centres where most contractors will not travel. We bring our own crews, plant and supervision.
- ✓Unrestricted licence, no height or structure limits
- ✓High reach and remote Brokk machines available
- ✓We travel with our own plant, not local hire
- ✓Engineered methodology and propping design
- ✓Class A and B asbestos licensed

Why regional demolition gets quoted badly
Two things go wrong on regional jobs. Either a metro contractor prices it as if the site were in Sydney and forgets what mobilisation actually costs, or a local outfit takes it on without the licence or the engineering to handle the structural side. Both end the same way, with a variation or a stopped job.
We treat travel as part of the methodology rather than an afterthought. That means a program built around getting plant to site and keeping it there, accommodation for crews, and enough of a scope in one visit to make the trip worth it for everyone. It is also why we prefer staged programs over day works once you get past Newcastle.
High rise and multi storey work
Coming down through a building in a built up street is mostly about what you do before the machine arrives. The sequence has to respect how the structure carries load, the propping has to be designed rather than guessed, and the parts near boundaries usually get done by hand.
Where we can, we process the structure from ground level with a high reach machine so crews are not working off the top of it. Where access is tight or the environment is unsafe for an operator, remote controlled Brokk machines do the work instead.
- Top down staged demolition with engineered temporary works
- Dilapidation surveys and party wall protection before we start
- Screening, water suppression and monitored noise limits
- Traffic management and pedestrian protection through the works
Regional commercial and industrial demolition
Regional work is usually broader in scope than metro. A single job might include the structure, the asbestos, the slab, the services and the site levelling, because there is nobody else nearby to pick up the pieces.
That suits how we work. One contract, one supervisor, and the hazmat licences held in house so a find does not stall the program while somebody drives up from the city.
What we take on regionally
Health and education refurbishments where the building stays open. Industrial and food processing plant. Council and civic buildings. Pubs, clubs and retail. Silos, tanks and agricultural structures.
- Newcastle and the Hunter, including port and industrial sites
- Wollongong and the Illawarra, university and steelworks corridor
- Central Coast commercial and retail
- Albury, Coffs Harbour, Ballina, Tamworth and further west on staged programs
Asbestos and hazardous material in older regional stock
Regional commercial buildings tend to be older, and the further out you go the more likely the material register is incomplete or missing. We plan for that.
Class A and B licences in house, independent air monitoring, clearance certificates and waste tracking. If we open a wall and find friable material, we deal with it under the same contract instead of standing your site down.
On travel: Ask us early. If we already have plant heading to a region, your job can piggyback on that mobilisation and the price improves. Timing is often worth more than negotiating the rate.
Where we travel
Sydney is home, but a large share of our high rise and regional work sits outside it. We hold the licences and insurances for government and Tier 1 projects anywhere in the state.
Wollongong and Illawarra

Central Coast
Gosford and Tuggerah commercial, retail and civic.
Albury and the Riverina
Industrial, agricultural and defence adjacent work, including North Bandiana.

Questions we get asked
Will you actually travel for a single job?
Yes, if the scope justifies the mobilisation. Tell us the size and the dates and we will tell you honestly whether it stacks up, or whether it is worth waiting until we have other work in the area.
Do you hire local plant or bring your own?
We bring our own where it matters. Local hire is fine for a bobcat, not for the machine doing the structural work.
Is there a height limit on your licence?
No. We hold an unrestricted demolition licence, which covers all structure types and heights.
Can you work while the building stays open?
Yes. Most of our high rise and health work happens with parts of the building occupied, using staged hours, dust control and protected access.
What about accommodation and travel costs?
They are in the price, itemised, so you can see what you are paying for rather than finding it in a variation later.
Got a regional or high rise job?
Send the drawings and your dates. If we have plant heading that way already, say so early and we will work it in.
