Why wet hire and not dry
You can hire a high reach machine from plenty of places. What you cannot easily hire is someone who has spent years reading how a structure behaves as it comes down, and who will stop and tell you when the sequence on the drawing is wrong.
That is the whole reason we only do wet hire. The machine is the easy part. The operator, the attachment choice and the order of work are what keep the job safe and on program.
The high reach fleet
Our Volvo EC480 runs in both high reach and long reach configurations. High reach lets us process a structure from ground level, which keeps crews off the top of a building that is being taken apart. Long reach suits work across water, over a boundary, or into an excavation where the machine cannot get close.
Attachments matter more than people think. A pulveriser on reinforced concrete, a shear on structural steel, a hammer where nothing else will do. Running the wrong tool is slower and it beats the machine up.

Brokk remote demolition
Brokk machines are remote controlled, so the operator stands away from the work rather than sitting in it. That makes them the right tool for confined spaces, upper floors where floor loading is limited, hot environments, and anywhere the structure above is questionable.
The electric models matter for indoor work. No exhaust in an occupied building, which keeps air quality manageable in hospitals, plant rooms and basements.

Shutdown and turnaround work
A lot of our machine hire goes into fixed shutdown windows in plants and refineries. The window does not move, so the planning has to be right and the crew has to work the shift pattern the site runs.
We mobilise for those, including interstate, and we bring the paperwork the site will ask for before the machine goes through the gate.
What comes with the machine
An operator with demolition experience, the attachments the job needs, and where structure is being removed, an engineered methodology and propping design. Insurances, SWMS and plant documentation are ready to go rather than being chased on day one.
How to get a straight answer fast: Tell us the constraints rather than the machine you think you need. Access, floor loading, what is above and below, and whether the building is occupied. We will tell you which machine fits and what the sequence should be.

Sydney and NSW is straightforward. Interstate and regional mobilisation happens where the program justifies it, and we are honest when it does not.

Questions we get asked
Can I hire the machine without an operator?
No. We only do wet hire. The operator is the reason the job goes well and we are not willing to put our machine into a sequence we have not seen.
What are your rates?
They depend on the machine, the attachments and how long you need it, so we price against your scope rather than publishing a rate that turns out to be wrong for your job.
Can a Brokk work inside an occupied building?
Yes, that is one of the main reasons to use one. Electric options avoid exhaust, and we control dust with negative air and suppression.
Do you supply the methodology as well?
Yes. Where the structure is affected you also get engineered temporary works and propping design.
How much notice do you need?
For Sydney work, often the same week. For a shutdown or interstate mobilisation, the earlier the better because the plant has to be scheduled around other jobs.
