The scrap is your asset, not ours. On a demolition or decommissioning job the recovered steel has real value. We weigh it, document it and credit it back, which often takes a meaningful slice off the cost of the works.

    What we recover

    Plant and equipment

Process plant, tanks, conveyors and machinery decommissioned and recovered, resale value assessed where it exists.

    Non ferrous and cabling

Copper, aluminium, stainless and cabling separated properly because the value difference is significant.

    Concrete and masonry

Crushed and recycled on site where possible, which cuts both disposal cost and truck movements.

    Reporting for green ratings

Diversion from landfill percentages documented for Green Star, ISO 14001 and client sustainability reporting.

    Site clean up

The site handed back clean and level, not left as a sorting yard.

    Where we work across Queensland

    Townsville

Our busiest regional search area. Defence, port, health and industrial sites.

    Sunshine Coast

Maroochydore, Kawana and Noosa. Health, education and commercial refurbishment.

    Cairns and Far North

We mobilise crews and plant north for staged programs rather than day works.

    Toowoomba and Darling Downs

Regional health, civic and agricultural industrial projects.

    Gold Coast

Southport, Robina and Broadbeach. Hotels, clubs and retail.

    Mackay and Rockhampton

Resources corridor work, plant and CHPP related projects.

"The cleanest demolition site they have ever seen."

Estimating Manager at Quadric, after our Hervey Bay job. Feedback that went to their project managers, contract administrators and directors.

    Questions we get asked

How is the scrap value handled?

We weigh at a public weighbridge, give you the dockets and credit the value against the contract. You see the reconciliation.

    Do you buy standalone scrap?

Our focus is recovery as part of demolition or decommissioning work rather than buying scrap on its own.

    Can you provide recycling percentages?

Yes. We track material streams and provide diversion from landfill reporting for your rating or ISO requirements.

What about plant that still has resale value?

We flag it rather than scrapping it. Sometimes a resale is worth many times the scrap value.

    Decommissioning a plant or building?

Tell us what is coming out and we will price the works with the recovery value factored in.
