The last two metres cost the most. Anyone can move dirt in open ground. Digging beside a live building, an operating rail corridor or unmapped services is a different job, and it is the one builders keep calling us back for.

What we do on the ground

    Bulk earthworks

Site levelling, cut to fill, stockpile management and haulage with survey control.

    Shoring and temporary works

Engineered shoring, propping and battering so the excavation stays safe and the neighbour stays intact.

    Rock excavation

Hydraulic breaking, rock sawing and controlled removal where blasting is not an option.

    Service location and protection

Locating and proving services before the dig, then protecting or relocating them.

    Sediment and environmental control

Erosion and sediment control, dewatering and water treatment where the site needs it.

    Where we work across Queensland

    Townsville

Our busiest regional search area. Defence, port, health and industrial sites.

    Sunshine Coast

Maroochydore, Kawana and Noosa. Health, education and commercial refurbishment.

    Cairns and Far North

We mobilise crews and plant north for staged programs rather than day works.

    Toowoomba and Darling Downs

Regional health, civic and agricultural industrial projects.

    Gold Coast

Southport, Robina and Broadbeach. Hotels, clubs and retail.

    Mackay and Rockhampton

Resources corridor work, plant and CHPP related projects.

"The cleanest demolition site they have ever seen."

Estimating Manager at Quadric, after our Hervey Bay job. Feedback that went to their project managers, contract administrators and directors.

    Questions we get asked

Do you work as a subcontractor to builders?

Yes, that is most of our civil work. We take the excavation and earthworks package and hand it back on survey.

Can you dig next to an existing building?

Yes. Detailed excavation beside live structures with engineered shoring is core work for us, including dilapidation surveys before we start.

    What about rock?

Hydraulic breaking and rock sawing. We price it honestly rather than discovering rock and issuing a variation.

    Do you handle contaminated ground?

Yes. Classification, removal, transport and validation with full documentation, and we hold the hazmat licences.

    Need an excavation package priced?

Send the drawings and geotech. You will get a methodology, program and price, not just a number.
