Perfect Contracting was contracted by one of our trusted clients Infinity Constructions to undertake demolition works at Darling Point Road, Pyrmont.
As an iconic fixture in Sydneys history and heritage listed building, being originally built between 1904-1912 standing at over 100 years old. Works were completely very diligently with extra precautions in place. We had approximately 8-10 operators on site daily working throughout the duration of demolition works, including a supervisor.
Works primarily consisted of structural demolition of walls, slab penetration, widening and removal of various windows and walls and ground slab removal. Perfect Contracting engaged our partner entity Perfect Concrete Care to undertake various concrete cutting, concrete coring and penetration removal works for the project.
Various hazardous waste including bonded and friable asbestos, was found on site and disposed of at appropriate locations.
Throughout the duration of the project we removed 3 lifts over 7 levels. Demolition of stair cases, pipework, plat and steel framing. We Installed lintels and structural elements to the buildings fixtures. Applied structural grousing and set up structural propping. Use of various excavators including 3.5-5T and S70 bobcat were used to complete the project,
The works at The Revy, went over the course of approximately 12 months and completed in expected time frame.
