Clancy Catholic College – Detailed Demolition
Detailed Demolition – Clancy Catholic College, West Hoxton
Perfect Contracting recently began works for our client Lloyd Group at Clancy Catholic College in West Hoxton. These works included bathroom strip outs, demolition of an awning, demolition of a concrete slab and loading all waste and rubbish out.
Our team members began with the changing rooms, stripping out all bathroom stalls and fixtures. Then our team members stripped all wall and floor tiles in the bathroom using our Hilti TE1000 Jackhammers.
Next, our team members began the removal of roofing sheets, insulation and external cladding. All team members while removing the roofing sheets wore safety harnesses. Once all roofing sheets and external cladding was removed our excavator operator then pulled down the rest of the structure with our Yanmar 1.7t Excavator.
Part of the scope of works included the removal of a concrete slab, our team members used our Husqvarna Ring Saw to cut eh slab into sections. Once the slab was cut through our experienced operator started using our Yanmar 1.7t with hammer attachment to break up the slab.
Next, our team members removed the large windows on the north, south, and west of the building.
Our team members have years of experience working in education facilities and have the expertise to carry out complex demolition works without disrupting the operational functionality of the building.
All waste material was removed from the site by our Isuzu Hook truck with a 15m3 Skip Bins. As we are now GreenStar approved waste removal specialists all waste is sorted by our yard and recycled.
