Perfect Contracting was to carry out demolition works at Castle Towers Shopping Centre in Castle Hill. The job involved the structural demolition and soft strip-out of a live shopping centre spreading across the three existing levels, From the green car park up to level 3.

Castle Towers, located in Castle Hill, is one of the largest shopping centres in Australia. The Centre was constructed in 1982 and has been significantly upgraded and extended since.

Green carpark slab demolition

This involved the demolition of 6000m2 concrete slab in a low clearance car park (2.1m).

All work had to be carried out with minimum noise by saw cutting the concrete slabs into blocks and loading them on low sided tippers.

Level 1 Stairs

Perfect directed the procedure carried out for these works inside the open mall area. We also arranged all dust and sully control measures to leave the site clean and safe for pedestrian traffic the next day. This stage involved concrete stairs demolition, using a Brokk 200 fitted with a special attachment.
