Demolition / Stripout – Sydney International Airport
Demolition and stripout works carried out at Sydney International Airport for EDT Projects PTY Ltd
Perfect Contracting recently completed a project at Sydney International Airport for EDT Projects PTY Ltd. The works involved the demolition and strip-out of a section of the Sydney International Airport.
All works were carried out at night and during the weekend as the Airport was still functional and noise restrictions during the day meant we could not use machinery or equipment.
The scope of work involved the removal of ceiling and floor tiles, removal of floor tile adhesive, removal of ceiling ducting and cabling, demolition of gyprock from internal walls.
We used our Tipper Trucks and Tub Bin system for this project so we could easily load all waste and rubble into the tub bins and move them if needed by simply wheeling them around. This reduces the amount of double handling you tend to get on most sites. Once all our tub bins were full they were loaded onto our tipper trucks for removal.
Our experienced site supervisor David Kocsis supervised all work. David has been with Perfect for many years as a Supervisor and is able to deal with any problems that arise on a project.
Result: The project was completed on time, within budget and the client was very happy with the outcome of the works.
