Perfect Contracting were engaged to complete detailed demolition works and strip out in and around heritage-listed structures. This involved careful planning and operations involved in all works to ensure the integrity of the existing structure is maintained. Involved in the strip out was the removal of existing fittings/fixtures, doors and windows, with additional penetrations required achieved by cutting concrete and detailed demolition of the new openings.

Removal of the stair structure involved engaging a mobile crane to support and remove the structure during demolition. Perfect Contracting core holed through concrete to create access for crane chains to support the structure. Following this concrete cutting and oxy cutting released the supported section of the stair structure for removal. This process was repeated for all sections of the stair structure until demolition and removal was complete.
